Itinerary

  • Overnight hotel stay. Spend your first day soaking the unique buzz of Manhattan by heading to Times Square. This central hub of midtown Manhattan is a great starting point from which to explore. Head a couple of blocks north to Central Park. Head west on 42nd Street from some great shows or two blocks east via the Rockerfeller Centre for the shopping on 5th Avenue. While several blocks to the south will take you to 34th Street for Macys and the Empire State Building.
  • A further overnight hotel stay. Explore this buzzing city in a continual sweep starting in Central Park and working south towards Wall Street and Battery Park where boat trips depart for The Statue of Liberty and the fascinating Immigration Museum on Ellis Island. Definitely take advantage of the shopping on 5th Avenue and benefit from lower prices due to the exchange rate. Stop off for a coffee in the golden atrium of the Trump Tower and stroll through the Rockerfelller centre on your way to marvel at the bright lights of Times Square. Soak up the panoramic views from the viewing platform at the top of the Empire State Building as the sun sets over the horizon and the lights twinkle on.
  • Embark ship and set sail at 1700 enjoying the sail-away party as the ship eases away from her berth out into New York Harbour. Get your cameras at the ready as the ship slips past the Statue of Liberty and squeezes under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge with the famous Manhattan skyline disappearing on the horizon.
  • Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
  • St Kitts is a member of the British Commonwealth and lies at the top of the Lesser Antilles chain close to Antigua. Cruise ships moor at the cruise pier called port Zante in the capital Basseterre right in front of the shops. Visit Brimstone Hill National Park known as the Gibraltar of the West Indies and the sister island of Nevis just a 45-minute ferry ride way. Get a good feel for the island on the scenic railway - originally built to transport sugar cane or chill out at one of the best beaches on the island Cockleshell Beach. This two- mile stretch of white sand beach is relatively unspoilt and overlooks the island of Nevis. Try an invigorating natural Aloe Vera massage on the beach - it does wonders for your sunburn !!!
  • This is probably the most popular island for British holiday makers. There are two reasons for this - the incredible white sand beaches on the sheltered western side of the island and because it's the only Caribbean Island to be colonised by one nation - the Brits! You will even find a Trafalgar Square here. Bridgetown is the capital lying in the South Western corner of the island. There is a large cruise dock where shuttle buses take you from the cruise ship to the terminal. The closest beach to the cruise terminal is Boatyard Beach - a white sand happening beach that is well equipped particularly in its Adventure Beach area with lots of things to do. There is an entrance charge which includes sunbeds and a free shuttle back to your ship. Barbados is famous for its Golf Courses - particularly at Sandy Lane, its cricket and perhaps take time out to visit Sunbury Plantation House over 300 years old.
  • Antigua is one of the top three Caribbean Islands for the British holiday maker - being a great destination in itself; Antigua has 365 beaches - one for every day of the year; the most popular ones being Galley Bay and Hawksbill Beaches. Antigua is extremely popular with the sailing fraternity with many marinas packed with expensive yachts. Nelson's fleet was hosted in the late 1700's in a picturesque bay on the other side of the island to the capital and is now one of the best-known bays for said sailing fraternity - now aptly named Nelson's Dockyard.
  • St Thomas is part of the US Virgin Islands and THE duty free shopper's paradise in the Caribbean. Charlotte Amalie is the capital - and this quaint town is a joy to walk around with its cobbled streets and alley ways filled with the best shops in the Caribbean - but not so much 'in your face' as the other islands. Unlike most of the other islands this is the US of A in the Caribbean - it is clean, organised and well run; you may think that you are in one of the Florida Keys. The best beach is Magen's Bay (voted one of the top 10 beaches of the world) and is approximately six-miles away from the capital on the other side of the island.
  • Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
  • Disembark ship for your overnight flight home.
  • Arrive into the UK.
