Alaskan Cruise Adventure from Vancouver

Itinerary

• Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Vancouver, Canada
  Fly form the UK to Vancouver for an overnight hotel stay.
• Day 2-3 - Vancouver, Canada
  A further overnight hotel stay. Visit one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, Vancouver. Explore the world-famous food markets, stroll through Stanley Park or just relax and breathe in the fusion of Canadian culture. Take your breath away and feel your pulse rising on the Capilano Suspension Bridge and even take a daytrip up to Whistler or pristine mountain views.
• Day 4 - Vancouver, Canada
  Make your own way to the nearby cruise terminal to embark the ship.
• Day 5 - At sea
  Cruise the inside passage on your way to the Alaskan coastline. Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
• Day 6 - Juneau, Alaska
  Juneau is the capital of Alaska perched on a hillside where the historical downtown buildings give it a somewhat frontier feel. 4000ft mountains create a dramatic backdrop to the city, beyond which lies the Juneau Icefield from which 30 glaciers flow, the most famous being the Mendenhall Glacier.
• Day 7 - Skagway, Alaska
  Skagway is the gateway to the Klondike and one-time boomtown of the gold rush era of 1898. This town enjoys reservation status within the national park, with its rustic boardwalks and frontier style storefronts and saloons.
• Day 8 - Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, Alaska
  Your journey through scenic Endicott Arm Fjord ends with a front-row view of Dawes Glacier. Standing over 600 feet tall and a half-mile wide, this very active icecap is known for its spectacular calving displays which produce huge, chunky icebergs that float in area waters.
• Day 9 - Ketchikan, Alaska
  Ketchikan is known as the Salmon capital of the world, is a quaint village, 3 miles long, just 3 blocks wide and wedged between the water and the forested slopes of Deer Mountain. The native American village is partly propped up on wooden pilings and the Totem Heritage centre houses more totem poles than anywhere else in the world. Perhaps or take a tour of the surrounding area with a very good chance of spotting majestic bald eagles that soar effortless over the inlet in their search for salmon.
• Day 10 - At sea
  Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
• Day 11 - Fly from Vancouver, Canada overnight to the UK
  Disembark the ship after breakfast and make your own way to the airport for your overnight flight home.
