Before you know it, you're in Delhi, ordering chaat like a pro and toasting a chai to an incredible adventure.

Itinerary

  • Fly Overnight from London to Singapore
  • Transfer to your hotel for a two night hotel stay. Singapore is situated at the end of the Malaysian peninsula and is a tropical paradise often referred to as the 'Island with a thousand shopping malls'. This tiny island nation packs in more malls per square mile than any other country in the world. Visit the 2.2km stretch of Orchard Road - the Oxford Street of Singapore, Chinatown, Little India and the vast Bugis Street Market. Enjoy a tour of Chinatown, have afternoon tea in the famous Raffles Hotel or take a cable car ride to Sentosa Island for some panoramic views. Gardens by the Bay is a nature park with futuristic looking tree sculptures covering 101 hectares of land, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir. You will find two waterfront conservatories: the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest; and the Supertree Grove with 18 man-made trees which reach heights of up to 16 stories. The Supertrees can be found all around the Gardens by the Bay - twelve are at the Supertree Grove, while the remaining six are placed in clusters of threes at the Golden and Silver Gardens. The best time to visit Gardens by the Bay is in the late afternoon, around 4 to 5 pm. Start with the cooled conservatories, and then go up to the OCBC Skyway in the evening when the weather is cooler. At the Supertree Grove, there is a nightly show (free admission), that showcases the magical lights of the super trees to music. You can also visit the Sky Park observation deck 57 floors on top of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. This striking hotel has an infinity pool and gardens which spans the roof over the three towers of the hotel.

  • Kochi (also known as Cochin) is a city in southwest India's coastal Kerala state. It has been a port since 1341, when a flood carved out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese and European merchants. Sites reflecting those influences include Fort Kochi, a settlement with tiled colonial bungalows and diverse houses of worship. Cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, typical of Kochi, have been in use for centuries.

  • Morning pick-up the clients from Mumbai Harbour & transfer to airport to board the flight for Jaipur Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stone used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur's bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar desert which has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture.
  • Morning proceed to visit the ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar's most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. An jeep will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. Many of the rooms have delightful wall paintings, with precious stones and mirrors inlaid in the walls. Most fascinating, perhaps, is the Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) where a single lamplight is reflected in the many mirrors, lighting up the room. En-route to Amber you will stop and see the `Palace of Winds', otherwise known as Hawa Mahal. It is really an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on in the street below. It is extremely intricate in its pink sandstone carving. The cool wind blows through its facade of windows and latticed screens through which the queens of the court once viewed the streets of the city. Continue for sightseeing tour of Jaipur city visit the city of Jaipur. Among the highlights to be seen while touring Jaipur include the City Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways. The palace museum houses collections of rare manuscripts, armoury, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings.
  • Drive to Agra, en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - the beautiful deserted capital of Emperor Akbar and the ancient town of Abhaneri. On arrival in Agra, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel
  • Today early morning proceed to witness sunrise visit of Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is everything that has been said about it and more. Taking 22 years and 20,000 men to build, the white marble was quarried 200 miles away and was transported to the site by a fleet of 1000 elephants. Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an expression of his love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, in mid-17th century, the Taj Mahal is truly one of the wonders of the world. Though the Taj appears to be amazingly perfect from almost any angle, it is the close-up marble inlay work, which is really astounding. You will have ample time to view and be mesmerized by this outstanding piece of architecture. (Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays for public visit.) After visit back to the hotel and enjoy breakfast. Enjoy a guided tour of Agra which includes a visit to Itmad-ud-Daula, the beautiful tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Explore the massive red sandstone Agra Fort, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations.

The tour will begin with a visit to Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi; drive past the Red Fort continuing to the Jama Masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques. The magnificent Red Fort, overlooking the river Jamuna was built during the years 1638 - 48 when the Mughal Empire was at its peak. The tour continues to Jama Masjid, one of Asia's largest mosques and which is viewed from the outside. Visit of Spice Market at Old Delhi: Khari Baoli is a street in Old Delhi, India known for its wholesale grocery and Asia's largest wholesale spice market selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea. Operating since the 17th century, the market is situated near the historic Delhi Red Fort, on the Khari Baoli Road adjacent to Fatehpuri Masjid at the western end of the Chandni Chowk, and over the years has remained a tourist attraction, especially those in the heritage circuit of Old Delhi. During your rickshaw ride you will get to ride around: CHANDNI CHOWK: Chandni Chowk or "Silver Square" is the most famous and historic street of Delhi, built around 300 years ago when the walled city of Shahjahanabad was established in the 17th century. Don't let the word "old" mislead you. The energy of vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk is simply irresistible. This part of Delhi includes street food, vibrant bazaars where you can shop for some ancient artifacts and Jewelry. Later proceed to visit New Delhi Visit Qutub Minar, which is the tallest stone tower in India. The Qutub Minar was started in 1199 AD by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak and completed by the sultan's successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish. The building is 72.5 m high and has 379 steps from the bottom to the top. The Minar is tapering with the diameter of the base is 14.3 m while at the top floor it is2.7 m. The Qutub Minar is still the highest stone tower. Humayun's Tomb: It was built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun's; by his senior widow Bega Begam. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable feature are the garden squares (chaharbagh) with pathways water channels, centrally located well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President's residence.
